Job Description


  JOB SUMMARY: Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate all clinical documentation-related systems
and activities within the scope of Surgical & Interventional Services across all Legacy Health System sites. Activities will include (in collaboration with I.S. staff assigned to Surgical & Interventional Services):
Providing support in the selection, design, tailoring, testing, training and implementation of all specific documentation software, system or instrument (electronic and paper)
Provide ongoing oversight of the overall file maintenance activities
Provide end-user support of the hospital electronic information systems and documentation systems.

Job Qualifications: 
Education:
Required
Current RN licensure
 
Preferred
BSN strongly preferred
Masters degree in Nursing or Informatics preferred
   
Experience:

Required:
Minimum of 5 years clinical experience required
Prior experience with design, implementation of systems and project management required
Preferred:
Experience in a clinical leadership role (charge nurse / supervisor / manager) preferred .
