Job Details:
Medical Technologist with ASCP certification or has any Blood Bank experience in a hospital setting. Knowledge of and familiar with CAP, AABB, FDA standards for Blood Bank. Responsible for overseeing the daily Blood Bank activities, including supervisory duties. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Experience supporting Cardio/Vascular surgical program. Good computer skills, must be able to create or work with documents in Word and Excel. Requires good people skills, and must be comfortable interacting with physicians and staff. Position will assist with running instruments in Hematology and coagulation when needed. Schedule includes working every other weekend, and shifts may vary.
