Job Description

Legacy Health in Portland, Oregon is currently recruiting for an experienced Manager IS Application Support to join our team. As the sixth largest private sector employer in Oregon, we are a not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation with more than 9,700 employees and five acute care hospitals serving the Portland/Vancouver metropolitan area 

This position will be responsible for managing upgrades and maintaining operations on a variety of enterprise applications including ERP (Lawson HR, Financials, Payroll, A/P, Purchasing, Materials Management, Business Analytics, etc.), enterprise time tracking, budgeting, and more.  Manager will be responsible for a team of eight IT professionals who implement and maintain these enterprise applications. Develop and manage processes to continually improve the systems in accordance with customer needs and to add value to Legacy's financial services.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assess customer needs implement and maintain information systems for financial system users and staff to add value to the financial services of Legacy
• Plan, budget for and manage the implementation and maintenance of financial information systems to support Legacy's financial services
• Negotiate and manage relations with vendors, contractors
• Lead staff in effectively implementing and supporting financial information systems
• Provide leadership in support of Legacy's policies and pathways

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, business or related field is required.
• Master’s degree or its equivalent is preferred.

 Required Experience:

• Minimum five years experience working with ERP systems preferred.
• Three years experience with Lawson implementation and upgrades preferred
• Five to ten years experience in advanced technology environment
• Three years managerial and operational responsibilities are required
• Experience must include planning, design construction, implementation and maintenance of complex information systems in a healthcare environment.
• Technical support of operations across a wide variety of hardware platforms, operating systems, and an enterprise-wide network
• Project management certification a plus
