Applications Systems Analyst - Report Writer
 
Apply in-depth knowledge of both the business/clinical and functional aspects of application systems.  Under general direction, interface with user departments to anticipate and resolve problems.  Develop and modify procedures to solve complex data processing problems.  Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
 
 
Job Qualifications: 
Qualifications:
 
Experience:
 
Two to four years of experience as a report writer using relational databases required. 
Experience developing with Crystal Reports in a Business Objects Enterprise environment preferred. 
Experience with Epic software preferred.  Experience developing in Epic's reporting database (Clarity) preferred.
Certifications and experience in one of the following Epic Clarity data models preferred: ADT, Cadence, Resolute Professional Billing, Resolute Hospital Billing, Ambulatory, Optime,EpicRx/ Willow, Inpatient, HIM, or ASAP.  Experience developing Crystal reports using SQL Server stored procedures preferred.  
 
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, math or business preferred.    
Relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
 
Skills:
Ability to effectively develop reports in assigned applications
Understands change management tools
Ability to use/analyze complex data models
Ability to test reports for accuracy and efficiency
Ability to work with other report writers to identify possible reusable database stored procedures
Ability to create efficient reports using industry best practices and a common style guide
