| Programmer Analyst - Research The Programmer Analyst will under the direct supervision of the Manager, Research Information Technology design, develop, evaluate, and implement software to support research in the area of biomechanics. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and modifying existing custom-developed software used to construct, visualize, and interact with large biological volumetric data sets. The incumbent also works with other members of the team in the development of software tools to support structural finite element modeling and geometric quantification of volumetric data. Job Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another Engineering discipline is required. Experience: Minimum three years of experience in software development. Proficiency in C++, Java, and Python programming languages. Strong 3D graphics programming background utilizing raw OpenGL or VTK libraries. Experience developing applications in mixed-OS environments (Windows, OS X, and Linux). Working knowledge of Qt cross-platform application framework highly preferred. Models and supports Legacy preferred employee profile.
